Untuk melengkapi layanan google wallet, kini google meluncurkan Wallet card yang difungsikan sebagai ATM. Kartu tersebut dapat digunakan untuk melakukan pembayaran secara debit, dan menariknya dapat pula digunakan untuk tarik uang tunai dari mesin ATM.

Layanan Gogle Wallet juga memungkinkn penggunanya untuk melakukan transfer uang online baik ke sesama pengguna maupun ke rekeneing bank lain. Untuk transaksi secara online, Google sudah menyiapkan aplikasinya di perangkat Android. direncanakan minggu ini Google Wallet sudah mendarat di perangkat Android. Untuk menggunakannya, terlebih dahulu pengguna Android mengajukan permohonan untuk meenjadi nasabah Google Wallet.

Kehadiran google Wallet ini tentu aja menjadi sebuah batu loncatan google untuk mengeskapansi bisnisnya di sektor lain, sebab selama ini Google fokus pada aplikasi digital dan perangkat mobile. Kita tunggu saja apakah layanan ini akan sesukses YouTube, Gmail dan lainnya, ataukah justru tenggelam seperti puluhan layanan Google yang terpaksa ditutup.
