Sampai saat ini hampir keseluruhan produk smartphone dari Samsung tetap menggunakan OS Android. Namun kali ini ada yang sedikit berbeda, Samsung kini dikabarkan tengah menggarap perangkat baru dengan dukungan dua OS sekaligus, Android dan Windows Phone nantinya.

SEOUL - Setelah lama diperbincangan, smartphone melengkung Samsung akhirnya resmi meluncur. Smartphone bernama Galaxy Round ini dilengkapi layar Super AMOLED 5,7 inci (1080p) dengan berat 154 gram.

Dilansir Mashable, Rabu (9/10/2013), Samsung mengklaim dengan desain melungkung, Galaxy Round menawarkan pegangan yang sangat nyaman, serta beberapa fitur unik. Antara lain pengguna bisa memeriksa data, jam, panggilan telefon, dan status baterai ketika layar dalam kondisi off.

Selain itu, Gravity Effect, juga menciptakan interaksi visual pada layar ketika perangkat dimiringkan.

Adapun spesifikasi smartphone ini antara lain prosesor quad-core 2.3GHz, RAM 3GB, memori 32GB, kamera belakang 13 megapiksel, kamera depan 2 megapiksel, dan baterai 2.800mAh. Belum diketahui berapa harga smartphone ini.

Galaxy Round akan memulai debut di tanah kelahirannya, Korea Selatan, pada 10 Oktober dengan warna Luxury Brown. Sayangnya, Samsung tidak memberikan informasi peluncuran Galaxy Round di negara lain dan pilihan warna lainnya.
